What personal data we collect

We collect only the data we need to run your account, keep our games fair and meet the duties placed on us as a licensed gambling operator. Some of it you give us directly; some is created when you use the site.

Details you give us

  • Account details such as your name, date of birth, address, e-mail address, mobile number, username and the password you set.
  • Identity documents that you upload or that we ask for during verification, for example proof of identity, proof of address and proof of the payment method you use.
  • Source of funds information where we are required to ask for it, including documents you choose to send in support of it.
  • Contact and preference settings, including your marketing choices, the limits you set in your account and any time-out or self-exclusion you request.
  • Messages you send us by e-mail or live chat, including attachments and our replies.

Data created when you play

  • Transaction data: deposits, withdrawals, bonus credits, wagers, wins and losses, balance history and the payment method used.
  • Game and session data: the games you open, stakes placed, session length and the times you log in and out.
  • Device and technical data: IP address, approximate location derived from it, device type, operating system, browser, language setting and device identifiers.
  • Usage data: pages you visit on the site, the route you took to reach us and how you interact with features in the cashier and your account area.

We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. Our services are for adults only, and an account opened by a person under 18 will be closed, with any stakes returned in line with our terms.

Why we use your personal data

We use your data for a defined set of purposes. We do not use it for anything incompatible with the reasons below.

  1. To run your account. Registering you, processing deposits and withdrawals, settling bets, applying bonuses, keeping your balance and history accurate and giving you support when you contact us.
  2. To verify your age and identity. Confirming that you are 18 or over and that you are the person you say you are, before and after you play, and checking the payment methods registered to your account.
  3. To prevent fraud, crime and money laundering. Monitoring accounts and transactions for signs of fraud, collusion, bonus abuse, chargebacks or the use of funds that do not come from a lawful source.
  4. To meet our legal and licensing duties. Keeping the records we are required to keep, responding to lawful requests and reporting where the law or our licence obliges us to do so.
  5. To support safer gambling. Applying the deposit, loss, stake and time limits you set, acting on time-outs and self-exclusions, and checking play patterns so we can step in where there are signs of harm.
  6. To keep the site secure and working. Diagnosing faults, protecting against unauthorised access and improving how pages and games perform.
  7. To send you offers you opted into. Marketing by e-mail, SMS or push message where you have chosen to receive it, until you tell us to stop.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where it is needed for the purposes set out above, and only with parties bound to protect it.

  • Payment providers and banks, so that deposits and withdrawals can be processed and payment disputes settled.
  • Identity-verification and fraud-prevention partners, who confirm your age, identity and address against trusted sources and flag patterns linked to fraud or financial crime.
  • Game and platform suppliers, who deliver the games and the systems behind your account, and who process data on our instructions only.
  • Service providers that host our systems, send our messages, run our live chat and keep our records, under written contracts limiting what they may do with the data.
  • Our regulator, law enforcement and other public bodies, where the law, our licence or a valid legal request requires disclosure.
  • Self-exclusion schemes, including GamStop, so that a self-exclusion you request is recognised and applied.
  • Professional advisers, such as auditors and lawyers, where they need the information to advise us.

If any partner processes your data outside the United Kingdom, we put safeguards approved under UK data protection law in place so that your information keeps the same level of protection.

How long we keep your data

We keep your personal data for as long as your account is open. After an account is closed, we keep the records that gambling, anti-money-laundering, tax and accounting rules require us to hold, for the period those rules set, and then delete or anonymise them.

Some information is kept for longer where there is a clear reason: a self-exclusion is held for the length of the exclusion and afterwards so that it is not reversed by accident, and records connected to a dispute, a complaint or a legal claim are retained until the matter is closed.

Closing an account does not erase everything

Even if you ask us to delete your data, we must keep the records the law requires us to keep as a gambling operator. We will tell you what has been kept and why.

Your rights, cookies and how to contact us

You have rights over the personal data we hold about you. You can ask us to:

  • Give you access to the data we hold and tell you how we use it.
  • Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
  • Erase data we no longer have a reason to keep.
  • Restrict or object to certain uses, including profiling connected to marketing.
  • Transfer data you gave us to another provider in a commonly used format.
  • Stop marketing at once, by changing your settings or using the unsubscribe option in any message.

To exercise any of these rights, write to support@casinopure.co.uk from the e-mail address registered to your account, or use the live chat on the site. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act, and we will respond within the time limit set by law. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, which oversees data protection in the United Kingdom. You may also contact our data protection team at privacy@casinopure.co.uk.
